Did you know that the average American throws away an estimated 81 lbs. of clothing each year? This is a direct result of fast-fashion practices and ‘trendy’ clothes that quickly go out of fashion. Rather than releasing a new collection every season, The Onward Pursuit has created timeless closet staples that can be worn all year. In our effort to keep clothes out of landfill, we will only release new collections once the old ones have sold. Finally, The Onward Pursuit is committed to ethical and sustainable sourcing: that means eco-friendly, and slavery-free.
OFFSET
We are on a mission to offset.
Most office or retail businesses generate up to 0.5 mT of carbon emissions per employee every month from energy use, waste, travel, shipping and commuting. That’s why we’ve partnered with TerraPass to reduce our carbon footprint. We donate toward various projects registered under the Climate Action Reserve (CAR) or Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) which assure transparency and quality in the creation, quantification, and verification of offset projects. These projects include Landfill Gas Capture, Farm Power, Clean Energy from Wind Farms, and Abandoned Coal Mine Methane.

At The Onward Pursuit, we are committed to providing fashion for all: all bodies, and all genders. For us, ‘self-love’ means a whole lot more than just a buzzword or hashtag. We truly believe that everyone is worthy of comfortable apparel, so we’ve created this line with everyone in mind. Our fashion is centered around spreading light and love to all, and we are constantly seeking ways to expand our sizing options.

This might seem contradictory given our aspiration to expand our minds and destinies, but The Onward Pursuit is committed to reducing the waste associated with the fashion industry. This includes time-wasting too! In our efforts to honor the planet and the sweet people living here, we’re doing away with the things that weigh us down. You’ll find that all of our packaging is reusable, compostable, or made from recycled materials.
